For as long as I can remember I have loved to take pictures. My first camera as a child was a Vivitar 110. Who remembers those?! I even remember taking my first pictures of all my toys! Then one day my Stepdad came to me with a vintage camera and a light meter. Everything on it was manual! If I wanted to take pictures with this equipment I had to learn how to use it, so I did. From then on my love and passion for photography continued to flourish. When I was in high school I took photography classes and I even got to work in the dark room and develop my own pictures. My first exposure to digital cameras was a Sony Mavica MVC-C1 back in 1989 and I thought to myself… this will never catch on. Ten years after that, I realized that digital cameras might just be the next evolution in my ongoing love for photography.
I started Jason-Paul Photography because I love capturing the human emotion. Photography is a labor of love. I enjoy putting in the time and effort to make your photographs look just like I would want mine to look. With just one click of the shutter, I am able to freeze any given moment. I’m capturing something that will never happen again. It is our photos that we treasure and chronical the journey of life. Each memory is priceless and it is that reason that I enjoy documenting these memories for my clients to cherish.
